Why it exists

The tote uses a familiar object to discuss material reuse and the wider systems behind shipping pollution. Reclaimed material can extend use, but it does not make an unnecessary purchase beneficial.

Materials

Panels are described as reclaimed sailcloth with replaceable webbing straps. Variation in color and wear is part of the fictional specification. No origin or traceability claim is made.

Made and packed

Panels would be selected, cleaned, cut, and sewn in small runs, then packed without added plastic. The catalog does not invent a workshop or producer story.

Care and end of life

Wipe clean, dry fully, avoid overloading, and replace worn straps rather than discarding the body. Separate metal and textile parts only where a local route accepts them.
